This is a design I created as a gift and had framed.  The quote continues to say “Everything else can wait, but our search for God cannot wait” said by Paramahansa Yogananda.  The design incorporates a lotus flower, which was used on a plaque at the site of a previous church Yogananda gave services.  The lotus flower was chosen as the symbol for Yoganananda’s church becuase of it’s ancient association with enlightenment.  The louts flower opens in the sun, and closes in darkness.  The Ohm symbol is an ancient symbol for the word (or sound) of God when in a meditative state.
