Physical Binary

This model is a physical interpretation of a digital cube built with lines to define the separate surfaces.  My analysis began by first unfolding the cube, and finding where the lines joined at the cube edges.  Those intersections at edges translated into grid points, which then became the basis for my physical grid armatures.  Shapes were then made from the voids created by the intersecting strands, then pins penetrated the grid points to connect everything.  Surprisingly, the grid came out to be a perfect 2:3 ratio.
